Notice in the figure below the red box outlining the Referral type and Referral Subtype drop down list fields below. When the user selects the option A&D Abuse Care Provider in the first drop down list, then the two options, Inpt Tx and Outpt Tx are populated in the second drop down list.

The global code 44952 A&D Abuse Care Provider has the Has Subcodes checkbox selected (note the upper left green box in the figure below). This check box being selected activates the Add/Modify Subcodes button in the Code Details section of the page (note the second right side green box in the figure below.
